The face behind the art

Hi, I’m Alice- the artist behind Calma Felicita. I started painting as a way to slow down and find a little calm in a busy world, and over time it became something I wanted to share beyond my own little corner. The name Calma Felicita means “calm” and “happiness” in Italian, which is exactly what painting brings me, a quiet sense of escape and stillness I’ve come to really value.

My work is inspired by beautiful landscapes and the small, peaceful moments you find in nature. Many of my paintings are based on places I’ve visited or dream of exploring, and I’m always drawn to scenes where everything feels tranquil- where the only sounds are water, wind, or birds in the distance. Rather than focusing on perfect realism, I paint to capture that feeling of calm and let the process guide me.

Whether it’s through a print, a commission, or a piece of mail arriving through your door, I hope my work brings a small moment of peace and happiness into your day.
